As the famous quote says, “He who is bored of London is tired of life!” With a population of more than 12 million people, there are so many sides to London – and this 5-Day intensive tour explores some of the magical dimensions to this colourful & mysterious city. Derek is an ex-Londoner, having grown up with the places that we have selected for this unique Tour. Here is an amazing 5 days, packed with unforgettable experiences. If you know, or even if you don’t know London, it will never be the same after this visit.
During 2016 we shall be offering two different Tours to different places in London. As with all our arrangements, this first Tour in March has been specially crafted.

DAY 1: Weds. – Day of Mercury
Morning: Arrival & check-in at hotel situated in Camden Lock, Market area;
Afternoon: Lunch followed by exploring Market, Round House & Camden Town, then nearby Regents Park/or Primrose Hill for group Ritual; contact with London’s Ley Lines.
Evening: Dinner in Market followed by Round House experience, concert or theatre.
DAY 2: Thurs. – Day of Jupiter
Morning: After breakfast we take short travel to visit Harry Potter’s Platform 9 & ¾ at Kings Cross station then onto nearby British Museum. Besides seeing one of the world's most magnificent collections of thr Art of all ages & cultures, we will view the famous Elisabethean Magus, Dr. John Dee’s magical instruments, his magic mirror & engraved occult tool. Sometimes an object from a period can convey more than any book about the mood of the time.We shall also enjoy key displays in the ancient Egyptian section.
From the BM we walk a few minutes to Museum Street & explore “The Atlantis Bookshop”, established March 21st. 1922 and has long been a major hub for London’s occult world.
Afternoon: 2pm. Guided group tour of the old West part of Highgate Cemetery - one of London’s great Victorian cemeteries. Here is a secluded landscape at its most evocative, with ivy-clad monuments, impressive architecture, Egyptian Avenue, terrace catacombs & mausoleum, with an ancient cedar tree & a circle of tombs built around it – an absolutely “must see”.
We then continue to “The Warburg Institute”, enjoying their collection of magical apparatus & books, including viewing the Aleister Crowley Thoth Tarot cards. These archetypal images created during the 1940s & 1950s, and first published in 1969, remain a masterpiece of Tarot symbolism.
Evening: Possible lecture at the Theosophical Society or The College of Psychic Studies
DAY 3: Friday – Day of Venus
Morning: 11am. Guided Tour of the “Freemasons Hall”, a unique building situated in Covent Garden. Built as a memorial to Masons killed in War, it has many specially designed chambers for Lodges to carry out their ceremonies. These, it wil be seen, have been constructed according to Kabbalistic principles.
Lunch in Covent Garden. Visit “Watkins Bookshop”, Leicester Square, the oldest occult bookshop in London, enjoy the energies of Trafalger Square. Possible visit to “Lucis Trust” spiritual organization, (the “Blue Books” of Alice Bailey & The Arcane School) located in London’s Whitehall area of government.
Afternoon: Westminster Abbey is in the heart of London, next to Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. The Abbey has been the coronation church since 1066 and is the final resting place for 17 monarchs and where some of the most significant people in the nation’s history are buried. Taken as a whole, the tombs & memorials comprise the most significant single collection of monumental sculpture anywhere in the UK.
If time allows, we visit the public gallery of the Houses of Parliament, followed by riverside walk along banks of the River Thames.
Evening: London Eye - Millennium Wheel adventure.
DAY 4: Saturday – Day of Saturn
Morning: Visit to the famous & ancient “London Stone” in Cannon Street. Then walkabout through the Temple district of London. The land between Fleet Street & the Thames was once owned by the Knights Templar. Today a dragon guards the entrance to Temple Bar and reminds one of the esoteric traditions once practiced here.
We continue walking over the steel suspension Millennium Footbridge crossing the Thames linking Bankside with the City and offering dramatic views as we move towards St. Paul’s Cathedral. For more than 1,400 years, a cathedral dedicated to St. Paul has stood at the highest point of the city of London. With its famous dome, it is an iconic feature of the London skyline, the seat of the Bishop of London, and the masterpiece of Britain’s most famous architect, Sir Christopher Wren.
Afternoon: Late lunch at famous Pub in the area. Then onward to explore the fabulous historic Tower of London with its ravens, Beefeaters & Crown Jewels. What lies behind the tradition, "If the Tower of London ravens are lost or fly away, the Crown will fall and Britain with it" - come & learn about what lies buried at the spot where the Tower now stands.
Evening: Performance at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre – “The Tempest”, with its central character Prospero, the magician.
This modern reconstruction near the site of the original Elizabethan Globe, will put one in direct contact with Shakespeare's world. the performances are played out in the identical conditions, including an open roof. its design is esoteric, the various shapes contained within the building representing different levels. To see a Shakespeare play here is to experience not only the physical conditions of the period - but enter a window onto anotjer reality which the Master Magician William Shakespeare could conjure in drama. It is our blessing tonight to experience the highly evocative & magical play - "The Tempest".
DAY 5: Sunday – Day of the Sun
Morning: Walk on the wild Hampstead Heath & concluding group Ritual.
Afternoon: On the edge of Hampstead Heath surrounded by tranquil gardens, Kenwood House is one of London’s hidden gems – breathtaking interiors & stunning world class art collection. Lunch at Kenwood House.
Evening: Return flight from Heathrow Airport to Scandinavia
